This is a landscape of rolling hills and wooded valleys, orchards and vineyards, but also more castles and historic houses than any other county.
And Kentish hops, historic dockyards, its proximity to Europe, seaside resorts and white cliffs, plus the edge of London all make variety the spice of life in this justifiably titled Garden of England.
From the rural hamlets of Hollingbourne and Farningham, to the county town of Maidstone, plus the magnificent cathedral city of Canterbury, the six hostelries that make up this Collection and are very much destinations in their own right. Even the commuter town of Westerham still thinks it's a village and has preserved its history and atmosphere.

Our friendly and knowledgeable staff epitomize the local demeanor and the inns are all rather grand buildings befitting localities where time sometimes stands still.
