Discover a Vintage Inn in East of England

The Marsh Harrier is far enough from the medieval time capsule of Norwich to act as a rural respite, while The Swan Inn, Wroxham, stars brightly along the picturesque River Bure in the jewel of the Broads.

The Beagle resides in a chocolate box village outside historic Ipswich and The Swan Holme on the outskirts of the cathedral city of Lincoln, while the Coach & Horses in Bishop's Stortford has a canalside charm all of its own.

Two of Peterborough's most desirable rural villages also feature - The Cuckoo in idyllic Alwalton nestles in a conservation area and the thatched Fitzwilliam Arms lies on a quintessential village green in sleepy Marholm.

Whilst their localities are different, they all sing from the same hymn sheet. Sympathetically restored features, real fires, quality pub food, cask conditioned ales and wines from around the world are the norm rather than the exception!
