The White Horse, a country pub in Sutton Coldfield

We’ve got everything you need from a country pub near you.

There has been a building on this site since Georgian times, when The White Horse was regularly frequented by blacksmiths, farmers and even other publicans. Only one family, the Lucas', ran The White Horse from 1845 until the early 20th Century. The owners and use of the building has changed many times since the Lucas' sold it and now The White Horse offers real ale and good food all year round.

Our menus are full of hearty favourites and country pub classics, as well as our seasonal dishes, and we’ll be ready with a well-stocked bar, including cask ales, fine wines and British gin to suit very taste - which will taste all the better when enjoyed either in our beautiful gardens or by our crackling log fires.
