The Packe Arms
Rempstone Road, Hoton, Loughborough, Leicestershire, LE12 5SJ
During the 18th century we were known as The Marquis of Granby, a military hero of the period. Our current name comes from The Packes, a prestigious Victorian family of land-owners from Leicester. Charles James Packe restored The Packe Arms in the 1800s, to this day as guests enter the building they can see the date stone above the front entrance which reads, 1831, C.J.P.
A country pub oozing rural charm and rustic character, our picturesque surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for savouring the hearty, seasonal pub-food on our menu, and the carefully nurtured cask ales and fine wines gracing our bar.
Whether you are planning dinner with friends or Sunday lunch with family, book a table online and enjoy some quality time with those you love the most.
Walkers enjoying the local countryside are drawn to our pub by its attractive gardens. Others like to include a visit to us for refreshment when planning their explorations of nearby Prestwold Hall and other historic places.
