When The Five Bells was built in 1854, the local farmers used to tether their horses to its fence while they popped inside for a drink. There was barely enough room for four tables and the beer barrels were kept cool by being wrapped in wet sacking under the bar. The Five Bells now welcomes guests to enjoy our Real Ales and Great Food, in the old world comfort of the 21st century.
Our 10 bedroom Innkeeper's Lodge continues tradition of welcoming travellers. It's our local charm that attracts office staff and ramblers, as well as diners and drinkers from Weston Turville and nearby West End, Brook End and Church End. We also welcome business and leisure travellers to enjoy some of the best bedrooms and accommodation in Weston Turville.
What could be more English than the gentle peal of bells wafting through a small leafy village? The Five Bells, a magnet for walkers in the Chilterns, nestles within earshot of St Mary's Church bells.
