About The Bakers Arms

Traditional Hospitality at The Bakers Arms

Of all the pubs in Poole, The Bakers Arms is surely the best place to make the most of our weather (come rain or shine) - with a delicious meal, a thirst quenching drink and the cherished company of family and friends. Soak up the warmest of welcomes and explore some of the most popular pub food menus in Hardy Country and Coast. Try one of our hugely satisfying seasonal dishes with a glass of fine wine or sample a rewarding pint of our regularly changing and highly quaffable cask-conditioned real ales.

A Little Pub History

The pub's history dates back as far as 1851, serving as the heart of the local rural community. Throughout history it has been run by families and it has served as the headquarters for numerous local businesses and crafts. A recent refurbishment has been welcomed, seeing a rise in guests from nearby towns including Upton, Arne and the idyllic Lytchett Bay.

Around The Area

The Bakers Arms is an excellent vantage point for exploring the nearby delights of Poole (handy for ferries to Spain and France) and Brownsea Island. There are many delightful walks in the area.
