The Barn Owl has been built from reclaimed materials salvaged from older buildings, creating a distinctive & unique setting in which to eat and drink. We sit on the area that was the ancient district of The Wonford Hundred, an area with a long history of agricultural and handicraft.

Set on the outskirts of Exeter, The Barn Owl is well placed for exploring the local attractions. The city centre has been designated as an Area of Archaeological Importance. There are 15 conservation areas and over 1600 listed buildings.
