The Bugle Horn is well known in Aylesbury and across Buckinghamshire as a fine country pub. There is always a warm welcome with roaring log fires, freshly prepared food, a great selection of real ales and a diverse wine menu for you to choose from.
A little Pub History
The Bugle Horn started life as a farmhouse, but during the early 1800s it was used as a wine store for Hartwell House, whilst Louis XVIII of France lived there in exile. Soon after we became known as the Plough, our current name comes from the fossils of the same name that can be seen in The Bugle Horn's walls.
Around The Area
The Bugle Horn welcomes regular customers from Haddenham, Thame and Chearsley with our easily accessible location and its own gardens. We are also very popular with golfers from The Aylesbury Park Golf Club who pop in for our Real Ale. Guests travelling between Aylesbury and Oxford often stop off at The Bugle Horn for our great pub restaurant food.

Open every day
Our standard opening times are below but we may open earlier on certain days depending on local demand so please do call us to check if you would like to visit us before midday.
Monday to Saturday 12pm to 11pm.
Sundays 12pm to 10.30pm.
Food served all day
Monday to Saturday all day to 10pm.
Sunday all day to 9.30pm.

There is no need to book, all are welcome, just come along and we will look after you and ensure an enjoyable visit.
