About The Danson Stables

Traditional Hospitality at The Danson Stables

Of all the pubs in Bexley Heath, The Danson Stables is surely the best place to make the most of our weather (come rain or shine) - with a delicious meal, a thirst quenching drink and the cherished company of family and friends. Soak up the warmest of welcomes and explore some of the most popular pub food menus in Kent. Try one of our hugely satisfying seasonal dishes with a glass of fine wine or sample a rewarding pint of our regularly changing and highly quaffable cask-conditioned real ales.

A Little Pub History

The Danson Stables has an idyllic location with views over Danson Park. Built in 1760 from beautiful Ashlar stone, The Danson Stables used to have strong links with the Crystalline Villa in the park. To this day it is said that secret tunnels exist underground to connect the two buildings, now guests prefer a leisurely stroll through the park before joining us for our great pub restaurant food.

Around The Area

Our pub stands in Danson Park, recognised nationally for its historic landscape and buildings. Built in 1760, the pub was once the stables for the 18th century Danson Mansion, which now offers extensive recreational facilities.
