At The Devil's Dyke, we're making a well-earned meal out of lunch, which is great value at £6.50 for a main course. Or, if you're not in a hurry, why not take in an extra starter or dessert for just £2 more per course?
Good food for less
Eating out in the tranquil Brighton countryside is the perfect escape from a busy work schedule (or an exhausting morning's shopping).
Here are a few satisfying, seasonally inspired pub-food recommendations from our latest fixed-price menu:
- Seasonal Salad cos, cauliflower, red chard, carrot, baby spinach, soya beans and pomegranate seeds tossed with fried cheese and rocket parcels, mixed and pumpkin seeds and fat-free dressing (V)
- Lamb, Redcurrant and Rosemary Meatballs served with baby spinach, mash and gravy
- Baked Egg hen's egg baked in tomatoes, peppers, buffalo mozzarella and chorizo, served with ciabatton
Make time for pudding
With plum and raspberry frangipane and a churros sundae on our pudding menu, a second course is hard to resist. If you're feeling extra peckish you can add a third course and try our beer battered mushrooms or bacon and stilton salad to start for just £2 extra.That's three courses for £10.50.
Long lunch or late lunch?
We serve our fixed-price menu until 5pm, Monday to Saturday, so why not kick back and order a glass of fine wine, a pint of real ale or a hot drink and continue your conversation?
