About The Farmhouse

Traditional Hospitality at The Farmhouse

Of all the pubs in New Waltham, The Farmhouse is surely the best place to make the most of our weather (come rain or shine) - with a delicious meal, a thirst quenching drink and the cherished company of family and friends. Soak up the warmest of welcomes and explore some of the most popular pub food menus in National. Try one of our hugely satisfying seasonal dishes with a glass of fine wine or sample a rewarding pint of our regularly changing and highly quaffable cask-conditioned real ales.

A Little Pub History

The Farmhouse dates from around 1800 and started life as Greenland Farm which was owned by the Anningson family. The farm continued to be in the same family until the late 1800's, and after various incarnations as pubs and a nightclub it became the Cross Keys Inn before reverting to its original name, The Farmhouse, following a £1m restoration project in the 1990's.
