About The Firecrest
Traditional Hospitality at The Firecrest
Of all the pubs in Wendover, The Firecrest is surely the best place to make the most of our weather (come rain or shine) - with a delicious meal, a thirst quenching drink and the cherished company of family and friends. Soak up the warmest of welcomes and explore some of the most popular pub food menus in Three Counties. Try one of our hugely satisfying seasonal dishes with a glass of fine wine or sample a rewarding pint of our regularly changing and highly quaffable cask-conditioned real ales.
A Refined Dining Experience
You can also enjoy candlelit evenings in our designated dining rooms, so relax in style and comfort - and experience full table service to make the occasion even more special.

A Little Pub History
The first pint served on the property was in 1827, although it only became The Firecrest pub in 1998. Originally known as The Half Way House, The Firecrest is situated in its own extensive gardens on the outskirts of Wendover, near Aylesbury.
Around The Area
The Firecrest, which served its first pint in 1827, is handy for visitors to The Buckinghamshire County Museum in Aylesbury, and there is an attractive walk along the Wendover Arm of the Grand Union Canal.
