About The Five Bells

Traditional Hospitality at The Five Bells

Of all the pubs in Weston Turville, The Five Bells is surely the best place to make the most of our weather (come rain or shine) - with a delicious meal, a thirst quenching drink and the cherished company of family and friends. Soak up the warmest of welcomes and explore some of the most popular pub food menus in Three Counties. Try one of our hugely satisfying seasonal dishes with a glass of fine wine or sample a rewarding pint of our regularly changing and highly quaffable cask-conditioned real ales.

A Little Pub History

When The Five Bells was built in 1854, the local farmers used to tether their horses to its fence while they popped inside for a drink. There was barely enough room for four tables and the beer barrels were kept cool by being wrapped in wet sacking under the bar. The Five Bells now welcomes guests to enjoy our Real Ales and Great Food, in the old world comfort of the 21st century.

Around The Area

What could be more English than the gentle peal of bells wafting through a small leafy village? The Five Bells, a magnet for walkers in the Chilterns, nestles within earshot of St Mary's Church bells.
