A Little Pub History
The Fox and Anchor dates back to the late 1700's when it was known as the Anchor Inn. The first known landlord was a John Durham recorded as such in 1834.The current building is believed to have been built during the early 1960's after the original was destroyed by fire.

With our setting on the banks of the Shropshire Union Canal, visitors to our pub enjoy walking the canal towpath and the National Trust property at Moseley Old Hall, famed for its connections with Charles II.

Our standard opening times are below but we may open earlier on certain days depending on local demand so please do call us to check if you would like to visit us before midday.Monday to Saturday 12pm to 11pm.
Sundays 12pm to 10.30pm.
Food served all day
