About The Fox
Traditional Hospitality at The Fox
Of all the pubs in Coulsdon Common, The Fox is surely the best place to make the most of our weather (come rain or shine) - with a delicious meal, a thirst quenching drink and the cherished company of family and friends. Soak up the warmest of welcomes and explore some of the most popular pub food menus in North Downs and Surrey. Try one of our hugely satisfying seasonal dishes with a glass of fine wine or sample a rewarding pint of our regularly changing and highly quaffable cask-conditioned real ales.
A Little Pub History
Although most accounts of the pub's history come from the Victorian era, the Fox alehouse has been recorded at the same site on Coulsdon Common from as far back as 1720. There is no doubt that The Fox has always been the village inn, welcoming guests from the local community then with the same friendly service as we do today.

Around The Area
Our magnificent country inn dates to 1720 and lies on Coulsdon Common, a unique wildlife conservation area and historic landscape enjoyed by our guests. A variety of circular walks offers many points of interest.
