The Globe is well known in Newton Saint Loe, Bath and across Somerset as a fine country pub. A popular pub restaurant famous for great food, we sit near the picturesque banks of the River Avon. There is always a warm welcome with roaring log fires, freshly prepared food, a great selection of real ales and a diverse wine menu for you to choose from.
A Little Pub History
Originally built in the 17th Century, The Globe has been an integral part of the heritage of Newton St. Loe, the old colliery was even named after the building. The west side of our two-storey pub was added in the 1800's, with the east side still containing remnants of the original building.
Around The Area
Sat near the border of Somerset and Gloucestershire, between the cities of Bath and Bristol, Newton St. Loe provides a relaxing escape to a small village full of heritage. Unwind with great food and drink near the banks of the River Avon with friendly locals from towns like Corston and Marksbury, not to mention the keen golfing community of Saltford.

Open every day
Our standard opening times are below but we may open earlier on certain days depending on local demand so please do call us to check if you would like to visit us before midday.
Monday to Saturday 12pm to 11pm.
Sundays 12pm to 10.30pm.
Food served all day
Monday to Saturday all day to 10pm.
Sunday all day to 9.30pm.
