About The Green Man

Traditional Hospitality at The Green Man

Of all the pubs in Middleton, The Green Man is surely the best place to make the most of our weather (come rain or shine) - with a delicious meal, a thirst quenching drink and the cherished company of family and friends. Soak up the warmest of welcomes and explore some of the most popular pub food menus in Lichfield and Sutton. Try one of our hugely satisfying seasonal dishes with a glass of fine wine or sample a rewarding pint of our regularly changing and highly quaffable cask-conditioned real ales.

A Little Pub History

Middleton Hall is the village of Middleton's most interesting feature, although it was nearly lost in the 70s to industrial developers. Middleton Hall was once home to Sir Richard Bingham and the village still honors his memory with a statue near the Parish Church. The Green Man is situated in an area rich with history and rural beauty in the Staffordshire countryside.

Around The Area

With large gardens and our location in a rural hamlet, The Green Man is the quintessential British pub, its ancient walls providing the perfect retreat from life's hurly burly. Make time to visit stately Middleton Hall.
