The Kingfisher in Chertsey is a country pub & restaurant oozing rural charm and rustic character. Our picturesque surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for savouring the hearty, seasonal pub-food on our menu, and the carefully nurtured cask ales and fine wines gracing our bar.
Book a table online and enjoy a spot by our roaring log-fire. Or make the best of the British summertime by eating alfresco in our pretty beer garden.
A little pub history
The Kingfisher was previously known as Chertsey Lock and then later as The Lock Haven, because we are situated on the banks of the river Thames. It is our position next to the 18th Century Chertsey Bridge which gives The Kingfisher some superb views and adds to the relaxed atmosphere.
Make a day of it
Standing by the 18th century stone Chertsey Bridge, with a garden overlooking the Thames, our pub is ideally placed for those wishing to explore the river and nearby wetlands. To the south is the Wey Navigation.
