About The Kingfisher
Traditional Hospitality at The Kingfisher
Of all the pubs in Chertsey, The Kingfisher is surely the best place to make the most of our weather (come rain or shine) - with a delicious meal, a thirst quenching drink and the cherished company of family and friends. Soak up the warmest of welcomes and explore some of the most popular pub food menus in Middlesex and the Thames Valley. Try one of our hugely satisfying seasonal dishes with a glass of fine wine or sample a rewarding pint of our regularly changing and highly quaffable cask-conditioned real ales.
A Refined Dining Experience
You can also enjoy candlelit evenings in our designated dining rooms, so relax in style and comfort - and experience full table service to make the occasion even more special.

A Little Pub History
The Kingfisher was previously known as Chertsey Lock and then later as The Lock Haven, because we are situated on the banks of the river Thames. It is our position next to the 18th Century Chertsey Bridge which gives The Kingfisher some superb views and adds to the relaxed atmosphere.
Around The Area
Standing by the 18th century stone Chertsey Bridge, with a garden overlooking the Thames, our pub is ideally placed for those wishing to explore the river and nearby wetlands. To the south is the Wey Navigation.
