At The Melville Inn in Lasswade you can be sure of the warmest welcome, great value and a selection of seasonally inspired food menus that are available all day. If you are coming before five (Mon-Sat), why not try one of the new dishes on our winter lunch menu; like our Pork and Aspall Cider stew, a new, hearty and filling dish that's perfect on a cold day. Our evening menu is available after five, with some great seasonal dishes like our signature Lamb Shank Jardaloo, a tender lamb shank in a spicy spinach curry sauce - delicious!

Why not come for a spur of the moment get-together and try one of our cracking grills & steaks with a pint of perfectly kept real ale. Our ever popular sharing plates, like the warming tasting platter, are great with a bottle of wine form our drinks menu but must always be served with the good company of friends.

Sunday Lunch

Bring friends and family on a Sunday to enjoy a succulent roast dinner together served with all the trimmings. Enjoy our delicious roast turkey and beef available every Sunday, or select our Sunday roast special which could be either lamb or pork. We also have a range of vegetarian Sunday specials which change from week to week.
