The Mossbrook in Eckington is a country pub & restaurant oozing rural charm and rustic character. Our picturesque surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for savouring the hearty, seasonal pub-food on our menu, and the carefully nurtured cask ales and fine wines gracing our bar.

A little pub history
The area of Eckington was listed as far back as The Domesday Book in 1086, with parts of the parish church dating as far back as 1100. The Mossbrook has been recently refurbished and stands on the outskirts of Eckington, close to Renishaw Hall and Golf Club, regularly welcoming a diverse range of guests to our traditional pub.
Make a day of it
The stone-built Mossbrook is loved by hikers heading to the TransPenine Way. It's close to Renishaw Hall and pleasant country walks. Eckington Woods, part of the Moss Valley conservation area, are carpeted with bluebells in spring.

Our Opening Times
Our standard opening times are below but we may open earlier on certain days depending on local demand so please do call us to check if you would like to visit us before midday.
Monday to Saturday 12pm to 11pm.
Sundays 12pm to 10.30pm.
