About The Nightingale
Traditional Hospitality at The Nightingale
Of all the pubs in Spetchley, The Nightingale is surely the best place to make the most of our weather (come rain or shine) - with a delicious meal, a thirst quenching drink and the cherished company of family and friends. Soak up the warmest of welcomes and explore some of the most popular pub food menus in Worcestershire and Warwickshire. Try one of our hugely satisfying seasonal dishes with a glass of fine wine or sample a rewarding pint of our regularly changing and highly quaffable cask-conditioned real ales.
A Little Pub History
From the early 20th century, the Nightingale was known as the Berkeley Knot, and before that, the Crown Inn. The inn drew much of its trade from visitors cycling through White Ladies Aston who stopped for refreshment en route.

Around The Area
The distinctive sloping red tile roofs and whitewash walls of The Nightingale Inn make it a landmark near Spetchley Park. This area has seen many battles, the most noteworthy during the Civil War.
