The Packe Arms is well known in Loughborough and across Leicestershire as a fine country pub. A popular pub restaurant famous for great food, we are nestled at the top of the chocolate box village of Hoton. There is always a warm welcome with roaring log fires, freshly prepared food, a great selection of real ales and a diverse wine menu for you to choose from.
A Little Pub History
During the 18th century we were known as The Marquis of Granby, a military hero of the period. Our current name comes from The Packes, a prestigious Victorian family of land-owners from Leicester. Charles James Packe restored The Packe Arms in the 1800s, to this day as guests enter the building they can see the date stone above the front entrance which reads, 1831, C.J.P.

We are an excellent venue for a rest after spending the day in Loughborough visiting sights like The Carillon War Memorial and to enjoy great food and drink served all day every day.

Open every day
Our standard opening times are below but we may open earlier on certain days depending on local demand so please do call us to check if you would like to visit us before midday.
Monday to Saturday 12pm to 11pm.
Sundays 12pm to 10.30pm.
Food served all day
Monday to Saturday all day to 10pm.
Sunday all day to 9.30pm.
No Need to Book
There is no need to book, all are welcome, just come along and we will look after you and ensure an enjoyable visit.
