Eating out at The Red Lion in Welwyn means good pub food that is freshly prepared and complemented by a great choice of affordable wines, real ales, soft drinks and hot beverages.

Serving All Day

At The Red Lion in Welwyn you can be sure of a warm welcome, great value and a food menu that is available all day. If you are coming before five (Mon-Sat), why not try a main meal from our new lunch menu, like our Caesar Salad with crisp Cos lettuce, hard Italian cheese and creamy dressing. Alternatively try one of our amazing sandwich selection, the Hot Smoked Salmon with cucumber and lemon dill crème fraiche is a real treat.

Visit The Red Lion for dinner and try one of our cracking pub classics like Gammon Steak and eggs with a pint of perfectly kept real ale or go for one of our ever popular Signature Dishes; Twice roasted duck and apricots, Mediterranean Lamb or Seafood Cobb Salad enjoyed inside, or outside in the sunshine.

Sunday Lunch

Bring friends and family on a Sunday to enjoy a succulent roast dinner together served with all the trimmings. Enjoy our delicious roast turkey and beef available every Sunday, or select our Sunday roast special which could be either lamb or pork. We also have a range of vegetarian Sunday specials which change from week to week. We look forward to welcoming you to enjoy your Sunday lunch with us.

There is no need to book, all are welcome, just come along and we will look after you and ensure an enjoyable visit.
