About The Roundhay Fox

Traditional Hospitality at The Roundhay Fox

Of all the pubs in Leeds, The Roundhay Fox is surely the best place to make the most of our weather (come rain or shine) - with a delicious meal, a thirst quenching drink and the cherished company of family and friends. Soak up the warmest of welcomes and explore some of the most popular pub food menus in Harrogate, York and Leeds. Try one of our hugely satisfying seasonal dishes with a glass of fine wine or sample a rewarding pint of our regularly changing and highly quaffable cask-conditioned real ales.

A Refined Dining Experience

You can also enjoy candlelit evenings in our designated dining rooms, so relax in style and comfort - and experience full table service to make the occasion even more special.

A Little Pub History

The Roundhay Fox was previously two Italian restaurants, a tea shop and a wine bar known as The Stables. Roundhay Park on the edge of which the inn sits once belonged to the Lacy family in 1284 before becoming a hunting park providing sport and game for the table of the medieval gentry.

Around The Area

Our traditional Yorkshire stone hostelry is on the edge of Roundhay Park, which is one of the largest city parks in Europe; and opposite the pub is Tropical World, which has a huge collection of tropical plants.
