A little pub history
Formerly known as The Dolphin, The Sergison Arms is named after the Sergison family, who historically owned large areas of farmland in and around Haywards Heath. Dating back to the 16th century, it is thought to be one of the oldest buildings in the town and began life as a private dwelling called Vynalls, named for John Vynall (d.1599).
Make a day of it
Our rambling 16th century inn overlooks the green in the centre of historic Haywards Heath and is very close to the Muster Green conservation area.
