The Springfield Inn is well known in Nottingham and across Nottinghamshire as a fine country pub. A popular pub restaurant famous for great food, we are in the town of Lowdham, near the fabled home of Robin Hood. There is always a warm welcome with roaring log fires, freshly prepared food, a great selection of real ales and a diverse wine menu for you to choose from.
A Little Pub History
The village of Lowdham is situated in between Nottingham and Southwell, and within it The Springfield Inn is nestled in Nottinghamshire countryside. For many years we welcomed guests on foot and now welcome walkers to rest their feet before continuing on their journey. The village's name means 'village by the loud stream' in old English, which refers to the nearby river Trent.

Our standard opening times are below but we may open earlier on certain days depending on local demand so please do call us to check if you would like to visit us before midday.
Monday to Saturday 12pm to 11pm.
Sundays 12pm to 10.30pm.
Food served all day
Monday to Saturday all day to 10pm.
Sunday all day to 9.30pm.
