About The Springfield Inn

Traditional Hospitality at The Springfield Inn

Of all the pubs in Lowdham, The Springfield Inn is surely the best place to make the most of our weather (come rain or shine) - with a delicious meal, a thirst quenching drink and the cherished company of family and friends. Soak up the warmest of welcomes and explore some of the most popular pub food menus in Derbyshire and Notts. Try one of our hugely satisfying seasonal dishes with a glass of fine wine or sample a rewarding pint of our regularly changing and highly quaffable cask-conditioned real ales.

A Refined Dining Experience

You can also enjoy candlelit evenings in our designated dining rooms, so relax in style and comfort - and experience full table service to make the occasion even more special.

A Little Pub History

The village of Lowdham is situated in between Nottingham and Southwell, and within it The Springfield Inn is nestled in Nottinghamshire countryside. For many years we welcomed guests on foot and now welcome walkers to rest their feet before continuing on their journey. The village's name means 'village by the loud stream' in old English, which refers to the nearby river Trent.

Around The Area

Our pub's location makes it a magnet for walkers and visitors to the Trent Valley, a beautiful part of England. It is possible to pick up the Trent Valley Way by leaving The Springfield and walking into the village.
