About The Swan Holme

Traditional Hospitality at The Swan Holme

Of all the pubs in Lincoln, The Swan Holme is surely the best place to make the most of our weather (come rain or shine) - with a delicious meal, a thirst quenching drink and the cherished company of family and friends. Soak up the warmest of welcomes and explore some of the most popular pub food menus in East of England. Try one of our hugely satisfying seasonal dishes with a glass of fine wine or sample a rewarding pint of our regularly changing and highly quaffable cask-conditioned real ales.

A Little Pub History

The Swan Holme is situated very near the city of Lincoln, which has its roots in Roman times. At one point Lincoln Castle was the northern-most frontier of the Roman Empire, guarding a city with fine public buildings and paved streets. The perfect example of this heritage is Newport Arch, one of the gates into the city, which survives today as an illustration of what the Romans brought to Britain.

Around The Area

A must for walkers and wildlife lovers, our old cottage-style inn has beautiful views across Swanholme Lakes, a nature reserve bordering Hartsholme Country Park. The area comprises Victorian landscaped gardens, a large reservoir, woodlands and grasslands.
