About The Talbot
Traditional Hospitality at The Talbot
Of all the pubs in Biddulph, The Talbot is surely the best place to make the most of our weather (come rain or shine) - with a delicious meal, a thirst quenching drink and the cherished company of family and friends. Soak up the warmest of welcomes and explore some of the most popular pub food menus in Cheshire and Staffordshire. Try one of our hugely satisfying seasonal dishes with a glass of fine wine or sample a rewarding pint of our regularly changing and highly quaffable cask-conditioned real ales.
A Little Pub History
The Talbot Arms was first mentioned in 1818, when Ralph Lowe was the publican, though it is thought our history could predate even this time. Close to the beautiful Biddulph Grange Gardens, we sit in the perfect location to offer an escape from hectic modern life, allowing guests to relax in a traditional setting with great food and drink.

Around The Area
A brook runs through the attractive beer garden of this traditional pub in Biddulph, which is a short walk from Biddulph Grange. Records date to 1818, though the pub's beams and open fires suggest it is older.
