About The Three Horseshoes
Traditional Hospitality at The Three Horseshoes
Of all the pubs in St Albans, The Three Horseshoes is surely the best place to make the most of our weather (come rain or shine) - with a delicious meal, a thirst quenching drink and the cherished company of family and friends. Soak up the warmest of welcomes and explore some of the most popular pub food menus in Hertfordshire. Try one of our hugely satisfying seasonal dishes with a glass of fine wine or sample a rewarding pint of our regularly changing and highly quaffable cask-conditioned real ales.
A Little Pub History
Prominently situated on Hatfield Road and easily accessible from Hatfield and St. Albans, The Three Horseshoes is in the ideal location to escape the busier towns of the South East and relax in a traditional pub. Our large building boasts a traditional interior, with exposed beams and wooden flooring, we have ample car parking facilities and offer friendly hospitality to all our guests.

Around The Area
Our cosy whitewashed inn is handy for walkers and anglers drawn to Smallford Lakes. With such a rural backdrop, it's hardly surprising that Smallford offers fine walks and scenery with Alban Way providing a valuable wildlife corridor.
