A little pub history
As the name suggests, The Three Legged Cross was previously a large working farmhouse, sitting within an 83 acre estate, the pub-restaurant maintains the look of the original building. Sadly for the original owner, records show that the inn was sold in 1919 for the equivalent of £83 - just £1 per acre!
