About The Vine
Traditional Hospitality at The Vine
Of all the pubs in Wombourne, The Vine is surely the best place to make the most of our weather (come rain or shine) - with a delicious meal, a thirst quenching drink and the cherished company of family and friends. Soak up the warmest of welcomes and explore some of the most popular pub food menus in Black Country. Try one of our hugely satisfying seasonal dishes with a glass of fine wine or sample a rewarding pint of our regularly changing and highly quaffable cask-conditioned real ales.
A Little Pub History
The inn started life as a private house in the early 18th century, but by 1851 had become The Vine. The inn drew much of its trade form local farm labourers, although the fact that The Vine used to have its own stables suggests that it was also frequented by horseback travellers on long journeys.

Around The Area
The Vine, a beautiful inn dating from the early 1700s, is at the heart of picturesque Wombourne. It's a great stop for walkers on the nearby Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal, and the South Staffordshire Railway Path.
