The Ye Olde Cherry Tree is well known in Southgate and across Greater London as a fine country pub. A popular pub restaurant famous for great food, we are situated a short distance from the picturesque Grovelands Park. There is always a warm welcome with roaring log fires, freshly prepared food, a great selection of real ales and a diverse wine menu for you to choose from.
A Little Pub History
Dating back as far as the 1700's, the first landlord of the inn was a Mr Edward Lomas. Regarded by many locals as the centre of the community, Ye Olde Cherry Tree has been used for a number of different purposes over its lifetime including the headquarters for the Loyal Britain Society, a coaching inn and a posting house.

Our 19 bedroom Innkeeper's Lodge continues The Ye Olde Cherry Tree's tradition of welcoming travellers.
