When it gets to Christmas Day at Ye Olde Cherry Tree, you’ll feel the Christmas spirit as soon as you walk through our doors with family and friends, met by perfectly trimmed trees, twinkling lights, and a festive transformation to your favourite country pub. This year we have a spectacular set menu available for £72.95 for adults and £32.50 for children.
Then, when you take a seat for Christmas dinner, prepare to tuck into the likes of our Duo of Smoked Salmon for starters, a succulent Beef Fillet Wellington* in a rich, red wine jus for the main event, followed by the festive delight of our Merry Berry Meringue Bauble, filled with berries, amaretti biscuits, and cream.
Of course, you’ll want to pair every dish with a tipple to suit, from celebrating in style with new cocktails creations to trying an old favourite with a seasonal update. This is Christmas dinner how it should be – indulging in delicious food, flavourful drinks, and time with the people you love.

Served with lemon & thyme stuffing wrapped in bacon, a Cumberland pig in blanket, Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes and gravy

With a mushroom & truffle flavoured duxelles wrapped in a puff pastry with a rich red wine jus, served medium

Our Christmas Day menu requires a deposit of £10 per person for bookings, with payment in full required by 6th December.
In the event of any changes to government guidelines that may affect your Christmas booking, your deposit will remain safe. If your booking cannot proceed in this eventuality, we will refund your deposit in full using the original payment method as long as we have 24 hours notice. To obtain your refund please just call the pub you placed your booking with.
