HOW TO FIND US

Located in Cropston, The Badgers Sett is perfect if you’re looking to get away from the bigger cities. It’s located just 15 minutes from Leicester via Cropston Rd and the A50, and just under 20 minutes from Loughborough via the Swithland Ln.

Originally known as The Reservoir Inn, The Badger's Sett former landlords have found it hard to leave our idyllic setting in Cropston. The first owners ran The Badger's Sett for 30 years before passing it on to a couple who stayed nearly 20 years, to this day guests find it hard to leave the picturesque location of The Badger's Sett.

Love the outdoors? Make sure to visit Bradgate Park, a public park in Charnwood Forest, in Leicestershire, England, northwest of Leicester. It covers 850 acres. The park lies between the villages of Newtown Linford, Anstey, Cropston, Woodhouse Eaves and Swithland. The River Lin runs through the park, flowing into Cropston Reservoir which was constructed on part of the park.

Why not also visit Bradgate House? Bradgate House is a 16th-century ruin in Bradgate Park, Leicestershire, England. It is one of the first unfortified great houses in England and one of the earliest post-Roman use of bricks. It is believed that the house was the birthplace of Lady Jane Grey, later Queen, ruling for a mere 9 days before being overthrown by Mary I.
