The Anchor Inn dates back to the late 1700's. The first known landlord was a John Durham recorded as such in 1834, and the current building is believed to have been built during the early 1960's after the original was destroyed by fire.

A country pub near you oozing rural charm and rustic character, our picturesque surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for savouring the hearty, seasonal pub food on our menu, and the carefully nurtured cask ales and fine wines gracing our bar. Soak up the sun in our pub beer garden, with plenty of seating, shaded tables and outdoor dining available.

Whether you are planning dinner with friends or Sunday lunch with family, book a table online and enjoy some quality time with those you love the most. Arriving by car? You’ll find ample car parking space right outside our Wolverhampton pub and restaurant.

Throughout the week we run Fixed Price Lunch and Dinner menus,
and on a Friday (from 5pm) and Saturday (all day) we’ve our fantastic Weekend Treat Menu!

At The Anchor Inn we’re proud to cater for any and all needs, which is why offer a range of menus to suit all dietary requirements, including vegetarian menu options, such as our Vegan menu, which is available 6 days a week.

Our cosy and welcoming country interiors ooze rural charm accentuated by a fireplace often lit in the colder months and during the evenings.

If a pint of hand pulled ale is what you’re craving, then we’re stocked with a great range of beers from Doom Bar to more local cask ales like Old Thumper and Razor Back from Ringwood Brewery. And, as an added bonus CAMRA members get 20p off their perfectly poured pint… making it taste all the better!

We welcome four legged friends and have water and treats available
to ensure they're as comfortable as you are during your visit!

Dogs are allowed in the bar area of our pub, as this is the most friendly environment
