The Anchor Inn dates back to the late 1700's. The first known landlord was a John Durham recorded as such in 1834, and the current building is believed to have been built during the early 1960's after the original was destroyed by fire.

Our menus are full of hearty favourites and country pub classics, as well as our seasonal dishes, and we’ll be ready with a well-stocked bar, including cask ales, fine wines and British gin to suit very taste - which will taste all the better when enjoyed either in our beautiful gardens or by our crackling log fires.

With our setting on the banks of the Staffordshire and Worcestershire canal, visitors to our pub enjoy walking the canal towpath and the National Trust property at Moseley Old Hall, famed for its connections with Charles II.
