Mother’s Day is always a special occasion at The Hanging Gate. Our delicious food, delightful drinks and cosy surroundings are the perfect combination to treat Mum.

pan-fried lamb rump and a Cheddar-topped shepherd's pie with seasonal vegetables and a red wine jus

in a creamy chenin blanc sauce, topped with puff pastry and served with mash potato and gravy

with black rice, pak choi, spring onions and a pineapple dressing

VENISON SAUSAGES

served on roasted beetroot with horseradish mash and an elderflower and blackberry jus

FISH AND CHIPS^

beer-battered, line-caught cod with triple-cooked chips, mushy peas and tartare sauce

KALE AND CAULIFLOWER-COUSCOUS SALAD

with roasted butternut squash, sweet potato, tender stem broccoli, pomegranate, pumpkin seeds and a pineapple & ginger dressing - add chargrilled chicken breast or chargrilled halloumi (V)
