We’ve got everything you need from a country pub near you.
From the early 20th century, the Nightingale was known as the Berkeley Knot, and before that, the Crown Inn. The inn drew much of its trade from visitors cycling through White Ladies Aston who stopped for refreshment en route.
Our menus are full of hearty favourites and country pub classics, as well as our seasonal spring dishes, and we’ll be ready with a well-stocked bar, including cask ales, fine wines and British gin to suit very taste - which will taste all the better when enjoyed either in our beautiful gardens or by our crackling log fires.
Planning your Christmas celebrations? Our chefs have created special menus for Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and during the festive period for you and loved ones to enjoy. Take a look here and book your table for Christmas today.
We look forward to welcoming you!

The distinctive sloping red tile roofs and whitewash walls of The Nightingale Inn make it a landmark near Spetchley Park. This area has seen many battles, the most noteworthy during the Civil War.
There’s more to The Nightingale than just great food and drink.
Did you know that if you’re a CAMRA member you can enjoy 20p off any pint of cask ale?
