Back in the 18th century our guests knew us as The Marquis of Granby, a military hero, but our current name is taken from the prestigious Victorian family, The Packes. Charles James Packe restored The Packe Arms in the 1800s, creating a space for all social occasions.
These days, we’re all about making new memories in our private hire space, ready to host your next event, whether that’s a business meeting, birthday party, baby shower or wedding celebration.

Just like the rest of our charming pub, our private hire space is filled with cosy décor, exposed wooden beams, and plenty of natural lighting – an idyllic setting for all occasions.
You’ll have all you need, whether you’re going all out for a celebration or elevating an important work meeting – and it’ll be complete with a flipchart and complimentary Wi-Fi, of course, for sharing the best memories as they happen.
