The Three Crowns
Lichfield Road, Stone, Staffordshire, ST15 8QU 01785 819516
When The Three Crowns was first built it was used as a coaching inn, offering friendly hospitality to weary travellers and providing them with refreshing pitchers of ale and hearty bowls of broth. Cyclists in the 1940's used the inn in a similar fashion, stopping here for a refreshing break whilst cycling to the popular day-trip village of Sandon.
A country pub oozing rural charm and rustic character, our picturesque surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for savouring the hearty, seasonal pub-food on our menu, and the carefully nurtured cask ales and fine wines gracing our bar.
Whether you are planning dinner with friends or Sunday lunch with family, book a table online and enjoy some quality time with those you love the most.
This quaint, thatched, former coaching inn on the edge of the old market town of Stone is a good base for country walks by the river or canal. Cycle tourists and narrow-boaters are frequent guests.
There’s always a great reason to visit your local Vintage Inn. Throughout the week we run Fixed Price Lunch and Dinner menus, and as a midweek treat you can enjoy Pie Wednesdays! And then start your weekend right with our NEW Weekend Treat Menu (available Fridays from 5pm and all day Saturday) – and don’t forget about Fizz Friday too!
