The Windhover is an authentic, modern country pub serving a delightful range of pub dishes and some truly great beers, wines, gins and real ales.

The fantastic chefs at The Windhover have carefully crafted a selection of menus to suit every occasion at any time of the day. From brunch through to dinner, we have a dish for you with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options available also.

Located in Chapel Brampton, The Windhover is perfect if you’re looking to get away from the bigger cities. It’s located just 16 minutes from Northampton via Welford Road and the A5199.

The building is on land previously known to house The Boughton Cold Store, as it was a supply depot during the Second World War. The Boughton Cold Store was built to store perishable goods like butter, cheese and margarine. These stores were built close to the railway line, to make the loading and unloading of supplies easy for the Ministry of Food.
