The classic Italian aperitif, and as simple as 3-2-1…
• 3 parts Prosecco (75ml)
• 2 parts Aperol (50ml)
• 1 part soda (25ml)
Aperol is a bright orange liquor invented by the Barbieri brothers in 1919. Soaring in popularity over the last decade, it’s pleasantly citrusy, slightly bitter and owes its flavour and aromas to sweet and bitter oranges, rhubarb and gentian root. Enjoy this striking summer spritz with a group of friends or before dinner as you mull over our food menus.
It’s hard to beat a refreshing G&T, and we’ve got the perfect summer serve - Mediterranean Fever-Tree Tonic, Tanqueray No. TEN gin and a juicy wedge of pink grapefruit.
Tanqueray No. TEN is a premium gin with a unique, full-bodied character and it pairs perfectly with Fever-Tree tonics.
Fever-Tree’s Mediterranean tonic has a unique, floral flavour, made from a blend of essential oils from flowers, fruits and herbs gathered from the Mediterranean shores.
Based in the lovely Lincolnshire countryside, Belvoir (pronounced ‘Beever’) infuse, press and cook fresh flowers, fruits and spices and then blend them with spring water to make naturally delicious sparkling drinks.
This summer we’ve expanded our range of these 100% natural drinks to include Cucumber & Mint. The thirst-quenching properties and delicious flavour of cucumber, blend delightfully with the wonderful, icy touch of mint. Deliciously refreshing it’s the perfect summer soft drink – or why not try over a cheeky gin, for something a little different.
Summer wouldn’t be summer without Pimm’s!
Invented in the early 1840s by James Pimm, the owner of several oyster bars in London, the drink was a big hit and in 1859 Pimm expanded his business to sell it by the bottle to other taverns.
Today, it’s enjoyed all over the world and no more so than here in the UK – in 2016, 320,000 glasses were served to Wimbledon-goers! Served throughout the summer, Pimm’s is the perfect drink to enjoy with friends.
Kopparberg Cider is made in the small town of Kopparberg, tucked away in the Swedish countryside. Originally built back in 1882, the brewery is still family owned today and Kopparberg is now sold in more than 30 countries around the world.
For us, Kopparberg’s Strawberry & Lime cider is just like summer in a glass; a splash of fresh strawberries, apple juice, and a squeeze of tangy lime. It pairs perfectly with one of our delicious puddings or is the ideal thirst-quenching drink to enjoy when the sun (hopefully!) makes an appearance.
Peroni have perfected a gluten-free recipe for Italy’s most iconic beer – without compromising on taste.
It uses exactly the same ingredients as regular Peroni Nastro Azzurro, including barley, and then a specific enzyme is added at the end of the brewing process to remove the gluten.
The delicate balance of bitterness and citrus aromatic notes, with a crisp, refreshing finish, makes Peroni’s gluten-free product the perfect beer to enjoy on a warm summer’s evening, in our beautiful beer garden.
Since 1998, J2O have been making mouth-watering blends, starting with the original Apple & Mango, Orange & Passion Fruit and Apple & Raspberry flavours.
In 2015 they then created J2O Spritz – a lightly sparkling variety of their blended juice drinks. And in our opinion their Pear & Raspberry Spritz variety is the perfect flavour combination for the summer; sweet raspberry, juicy pear and light bubbles. So, whether you’re designated driver for the day or just after a soft drink that’s a little different, this is the ideal choice for you.
Oyster Bay is one of New Zealand’s most dynamic wineries and arguably the most successful. Their award-winning range includes the crisp, elegant Sauvignon Blanc and the soft, flavourful Pinot Noir, both very popular with our guests.
Around just for a few months, we’re excited to add a third Oyster Bay wine to our range for the summer; Oyster Bay Rosé. With a delicate, yet vibrant flavour, this refreshing rosé has a lingering finish of white-fleshed cherry. Although it’s thoroughly enjoyable on its own, it’s also great with dishes like our salt & pepper calamari or one of our yummy puddings.
