HOW TO FIND US

Located in Brereton, The Bears Head is perfect if you’re looking to get away from the bigger cities. It’s located around 7 minutes from Sandbach via Holmes Chapel Road/A5022 and not far from the villages and towns of Holmes Chapel and Davenport.

There are plenty of exciting things to visit in and around Brereton, before or after your visit to The Bears Head.

Love the outdoors? Make the most of the surrounding countryside by visiting the Brereton’s local nature reserve. Explore 50 acres of woodland surrounding a 15-acre lake as well as areas of heathland, a wildflower meadow and wetland areas. It is also situated just a 13-minute drive from Middlewich’s canal system where you can hire a canal boat for a day to tour Cheshire’s beautiful canals.

If you’re looking to entertain the kids, Wheelock Hall petting farm is just a 10-minute drive away, where the young (and the young at heart) can feed a range of animals before enjoying time in the large outdoor play area. Here the kids can also attempt the assault course, swing high or even zoom around in mini tractors and go-karts!
