The River Wyre is no stranger to distinguished guests – after all, King Edward VII is rumoured to have once joined his drinking buddies – a group of well-mannered gentleman – for a round or two back in 1896, when we were known as The River Wyre Hotel.
The surrounding sights and drinks might have changed since then, but we still know how to give the most royal of welcomes to those who visit – and soon, that will include you.
