The Sandpiper was originally a farmhouse called Holly Farm. It has only recently been converted into the pub restaurant that you see today. The surrounding area is full of interesting history, the town of Bickerstaffe being an important local centre for the Quakers of West Lancashire.

Our menus are full of hearty favourites and country pub classics, as well as our seasonal dishes, and we’ll be ready with a well-stocked bar, including cask ales, fine wines and British gin to suit very taste - which will taste all the better when enjoyed either in our beautiful gardens or by our crackling log fires.

The Sandpiper is a great rural getaway with a spacious beer garden in which you can relax and enjoy great food and the pick of British beers and wines from around the world.
