HOW TO FIND US

Located in Worsley, The Woodside is perfect if you’re looking to get away from the bigger cities. It’s located just 24 minutes from Manchester via the A580 and A6, and just 20 minutes from Bolton via St Peter’s Way and the A666. The Woodside's origins were towards the end of the 19th Century, when it was constructed as a private house for use by the managers of the local collieries. Worsley has a long history in the mining industry, with coal being mined in the area since the 14th Century. Although the mines may be gone, the guests keep coming to our traditional building steeped in heritage.
