The Green Man
Longfield Road, Longfield Hill, Longfield, Kent, DA3 7AS
The gradual evolution of The Green Man into a pub restaurant traces its origins back to the 17th century, when the building was a farmhouse that brewed ale for the farm workers. Legend has it a green branch was hung out the upstairs window to let the workers know when the ale was ready. The Green Man is still a popular place to enjoy Real Ale.
A country pub oozing rural charm and rustic character, our picturesque surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for savouring the hearty, seasonal pub-food on our menu, and the carefully nurtured cask ales and fine wines gracing our bar.
Whether you are planning dinner with friends or Sunday lunch with family, book a table online and enjoy some quality time with those you love the most.
A destination in its own right, The Green Man is an ancient pub that can trace its origins to the 17th Century. It is a pleasant stop in sleepy Longfield for travellers to Dartford and Gravesend.
