The Old Stables
Fontwell Park, Fontwell Avenue, Fontwell, West Sussex, BN18 0SY
The Old Stables takes its name from the buildings that were previously on the site of the racecourse. The course officially opened on 21st May 1924. One of the most attractive racecourses in the country, Fontwell Park has been voted the Best Small Racecourse in the South East for several consecutive years.
A country pub oozing rural charm and rustic character, our picturesque surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for savouring the hearty, seasonal pub-food on our menu, and the carefully nurtured cask ales and fine wines gracing our bar.
Whether you are planning dinner with friends or Sunday lunch with family, book a table online and enjoy some quality time with those you love the most.
Our rustic inn with beautiful gardens is at Fontwell Park racecourse, and a real oasis on the road between the picturesque towns of Arundel and Chichester. We're also close to the Festival of Speed at Goodwood.
Adjacent to our pub restaurant is a Travelodge hotel.
