The White Rabbit
Sandling Road, Maidstone, Kent, ME14 2RF
Built in 1797 as a reaction to the threat of Napoleon, the White Rabbit occupies what used to be the officer's quarters of the Invicta Barracks. By 1813, the barracks along the Sandling Road were used to train the cavalry's young horses and twenty years later they became the Army Riding School.
A country pub oozing rural charm and rustic character, our picturesque surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for savouring the hearty, seasonal pub-food on our menu, and the carefully nurtured cask ales and fine wines gracing our bar.
Whether you are planning dinner with friends or Sunday lunch with family, book a table online and enjoy some quality time with those you love the most.
Dating from 1796, our colonial-style pub was bought from the National Trust and is a copy of the old American White House. Today our guests find our large, attractive gardens part of its appeal.
