The Jack Rabbit sits on the old road from Plymouth to Tavistock , near to the towns of Derriford and Crownhill. The Fort at Crownhill is the best preserved of Lord Palmerston's Ring of Fire which surrounded Plymouth in Victorian times, protecting the Royal Dockyard at Devonport from French attack and bombardment.

Our menus are full of hearty favourites and country pub classics, as well as our seasonal dishes, and we’ll be ready with a well-stocked bar, including cask ales, fine wines and British gin to suit very taste - which will taste all the better when enjoyed either in our beautiful gardens or by our crackling log fires.

The Jack Rabbit is close to Dartmoor and next to the small local airport. This is a pub with rooms so it's a great base from which to explore Plymouth and the beautiful surrounding countryside.
