ABOUT The Plymouth Arms
The Plymouth Arms is an authentic, modern country pub serving a delightful range of pub dishes and some truly great beers, wines, gins and real ales.
HOW TO FIND US
Located in Braintree, The Plymouth Arms is perfect if you’re looking to get away from the bigger cities. It’s located just 26 minutes from Cardiff via the A4161, or 34 minutes away Newport via the A48.
The inn takes its name from Elizabeth Lewis, heiress of a major local landowner in the area, who married the Third Earl of Plymouth in the early 1700's. The Plymouth Arms' location provided easy access to Cardiff and was a popular stop off point for people travelling there in traditional handsom cabs.
